Julien Hucq Invites TnT Trio
A native of Belgium based in New York since 2012, Julien Hucq is an alto saxophonist with a lyrical and assertive style, recognized for his versatility and openness to the various traditions of jazz.
As a composer and arranger, he has released nine albums as a leader and, through numerous international collaborations, has developed a personal music that combines melodic richness, freedom of improvisation, and influences from different horizons.
He invites the TnT Trio, a Lyon-based electric retrofuturist jazz formation. Around Benoît Thévenot (piano and keyboards), Greg Théveniau (electric bass) and Hervé Humbert (drums), the trio deploys a singular universe with pop, rock, urban and cinematic influences, driven by original compositions and strong stage intensity. Their latest album, Final Frontier, captures all its vitality in a live recording.
